As part of my determination to eat better I've been making smoothies on the days I don't intern. They looked so good this week I had to take pictures.
1. Mango strawberry-frozen mangoes, strawberries, plain kefir, (unsweetened) almond milk, about an ounce of mango acai juice (no added sugar) and a handful of fresh raspberries. Soooo good.
2. Blueberry mango strawberry-frozen blueberries, mangoes, and strawberries, kefir, almond milk
3. Strawberry-frozen strawberries, kefir, almond milk, about an ounce of that mango acai juice
My mornings have been awesome

I have to return to healthy...or should I just say "eating less" anyway...I like your smoothies pics but my favorite is the view from the top. It's fun having Brie here....and just seeing how different you two are :)
those look sooo good, do you taste the kefir at all?
I can taste the kefir a tiny bit, but I probably only add about 1/2 cup or so and the rest of the liquid is almond milk.
They sound great. Try grinding flax seed and adding that. Yes, I know, now people will know where you get your weirdness.
ok, so now you need to come to AZ and take my picture (and make me look beautiful) AND make me delicious smoothies. will you be compensated for your efforts? yes. i will let you swim in my kiddie pool.
Now I'm starving for a smoothie! I wonder if watermellon translates well into a smoothie, because I have tons of watermellon...probably a bad idea...
