I was at this orphanage for four days and fell in love with all these babies! Most of the kids are half-orphans. Their mothers' died and their fathers can't take care of them so they get shipped here until the age of 5. Some of them get taken from mothers who are mentally ill. It's really sad and most of them never get visited by their families. I sure loved my time with them though!

Oh! The fourth and fifth are beautiful!! Gorgeous babies. But so sad. :( :(
What angels. The pictures are gorgeous- they make me happy and sad at the same time.
"happy and sad at the same time", that says it perfectly, they are beautiful pics!!!
I would sure like you to tell me how you resisted sneaking one of these home in your suitcase.
With all the souvenirs I bought they just wouldn't fit!
Beautiful pics, Kelli:) They are touching photos and remind me of how thankful I am for the beautiful country and town in which I live and for all the many blessings I have in my life:)
It's amazing how you can help people to view such a sad situation so beautfully.

I'm loving this. So beautiful!!
Absolutely beautiful pics. I love the colors and composition of the first. I love the eyes and face of the little one staring out her crib (one up from the bottom). Awesome job, Kel.
Kelli.. these are awesome... I want to grab someone to share them
with...but it's midnight so I'll just ponder them until the morning.
The children are wonderful, you are greatly talented.. as for me I could hardly find the comment box. All is well ... have a great and exciting birthday... but it sounds like everything you do is exciting.
